With the prevailing global economic crisis, many people are subjected to a life of poverty, streets littered with abandoned children constricted into forced labor in trying to make a living for themselves. It’s fast becoming a hopeless situation.
In one of the songs of the great songwriter, Marvin Gaye, he wrote, ’I just want to ask a question: Who really cares, to save a world in despair? Who really cares?
There’ll come a time when the world won’t be singing. Flowers won’t grow, bells won’t be ringing
Who really cares? Who’s willing to try? To save the world, a world that’s destined to die. When I look at the world, it fills me with sorrow. Little children of today are really going to suffer tomorrow. What a shame. Such a bad way to live’!
Children indeed have come on the receiving end of a world filled with violence and wickedness. From East to West to North to South, wherever you turn, you see a child in despair, a child looking up for help, seeking hope in hopelessness. This have become the story of the world we live in.
But there is hope, there is succor as Hope Ambassadors & Child Care Organization has resolved to fill in the huge gap. This dedicated NGO has resolved to fight this battle with everything they’ve got not minding the lack of financial support they have experienced.
Hope Ambassadors & Child Care Organization which is a faith-based non-profit, non-government and charity organization with a calling to bring hope to the needy and poor people is indeed a prayer answered to many children across Nigeria.
In the words of Mrs. Mandy Olowu, the founder of this laudable charity organization, ‘We are not out to make money but to meet needs. Our fulfillment does not rest on staying ahead of others but with the simple adherence to our divine calling and mandate. Our purpose is not to feed our ego but to feed the multitude of hungry children to the glory of God. Our greatest joy comes from the smiles on the faces of these children and the fact that we able to revive hope. Helping to paint a picture of a better and worthy tomorrow and we are confident that together we can make tremendous change. Together we can make the world a better place’.
We at CSR REPORTERS are proud to be associated with this organization and are calling on well-meaning individuals and donor-agencies to join hands with this fearless group of charitable individuals to bring more hope to the children of the world.
