CSR REPORTERS’ Nonprofit Roundtable and Excellence Awards is an annual event of CSR REPORTERS MAGAZINE to recognize, honor and celebrate the outstanding efforts of Nonprofit organizations in general and the leaders that have made transformative impact on Nigerian society in the year under review.
Centre for the Right to Health has been a frontrunning campaigner for healthy living among Nigerians. As a health advocate, CRH plays a pivotal role in advising people on how to maintain healthy feeding, utilize a culture of checking their health status and taking the appropriate steps as directed by health experts to treat themselves.
It is noteworthy that as a developing country people seem to consumes whatever is available and this in itself is dangerous to their health. A large chunk of Nigeria’s population has no or little time for nutrition schedules or better still, time table because of the irregular market values of food products. So, people consume what they see or what is available rather than what they should consume. This, in actual fact poses danger to their health and this is where CRH comes to the rescue by offering the needed guidance.
