Over 1,300 young Nigerians converged in Lagos for the fourth edition of The Roundtable 2025, a youth-led dialogue hosted by Limitless Club that placed empowerment, self belief, and purpose at the centre of national conversations.
With the theme, “We Start from Enough,” the event challenged the narrative that young people must wait for credentials or perfection before making meaningful impact. Instead, it urged participants to recognise their present capacity as a foundation for change.
Convener Kennedy Ekezie, alongside PR and Communications Specialist Mojolaoluwa Abayomi, described the Roundtable as more than just a conference, it has become a movement where youths from diverse industries and regions gather to share stories, learn, and build authentic community.
The 2025 edition, its largest turnout yet, was marked by reflection, vulnerability, and bold storytelling. Speakers such as Tunde Onakoya, founder of Chess in Slums Africa, reminded participants that small beginnings can spark global impact. “You must believe that whatever you have in your hands is absolutely significant,” he told the audience.
Other highlights included insights from Bumi George, founder of Shredder Gang, who spoke on embracing vulnerability over perfectionism, and Eric Gugua, Digital Creator, who stressed that consistent effort is the key to transformation.
Former Minister of Education, Dr. Obiageli Ezekwesili, added urgency, reminding participants that courage, collaboration, and strong character must guide the next generation. “Character is the most lasting form of value,” she said, calling for a shift from small scale thinking to bold, collective action.
Describing the event as a “village of presence,” Director of Programmes Kamsi Asuzu-Obumselu highlighted that peer-led discussions and group activities helped translate inspiration into practical insight, leaving participants not only motivated but equipped to act.
Ultimately, The Roundtable 2025 reinforced a powerful message: Nigerian youths already have enough within them to build the future they only need to start.
