The Methodist Girls’ High School Old Girls Association (MGHSOGA) is set to mark the 25th year anniversary of graduating from the School with line up of activities which includes supporting the building of a new school block tagged ‘LEGACY BLOCK’ which is meant to serve generations unborn.
Apart from supporting the building of the new classroom, the notable MGHS 1998 class will be installing an interactive whiteboard for the school. The Interactive Whiteboard, according to the set was donated by Airtel Telecommunications, Nigeria.
The anniversary which is scheduled to be a 3-day program will also acknowledge some outstanding students in both Junior and Senior secondary classes of the school where prizes will be awarded for their academic performances.
The 3 day event will also feature thanksgiving service in Hoares Memorial Methodist Cathedral, Yaba.
MGHS 1998 set, expressed her profound gratitude to their esteemed sponsors for their acts of benevolence. Also, they are seeking for more support and donations from well meaning individuals across Africa in building their alma mater to an enviable state.
