Applications are set to open for the Together Women Rise Featured Grants Program 2026, an initiative designed to support nonprofit organizations working to improve the lives of women and girls across low-income and marginalized communities in the Global South.
This funding opportunity focuses on backing sustainable, community-driven solutions that address gender inequality while delivering long-term social and economic impact. Organizations working at the intersection of empowerment, health, education, and sustainability are strongly encouraged to apply.
Why this opportunity matters
Across many regions in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East, women and girls continue to face systemic barriers that limit access to education, healthcare, economic opportunities, and leadership roles. This grant directly responds to those challenges by investing in organizations that are not only addressing immediate needs but also building long-term, locally driven solutions.
For nonprofits, especially those operating within underserved communities, access to flexible and substantial funding like this can significantly scale impact. It allows organizations to deepen their work, expand reach, and implement programs that create lasting change rather than short-term interventions.
The emphasis on women-led leadership further ensures that solutions are informed by lived experiences, increasing the effectiveness and sustainability of funded projects.
Focus areas
The program supports initiatives that promote gender equality and women empowerment, improve health outcomes including reproductive health, expand access to education and economic opportunities, and address food security alongside environmental sustainability
