GTCO Plc Sponsors 2024 NPA Lagos International Polo Tournament

 Guaranty Trust Holding Company Plc (GTCO) has confirmed its sponsorship of the 120th edition of the NPA Lagos International Polo Tournament. This extended four-week polo series is scheduled to take place at the esteemed Lagos Polo Club in Ikoyi from January 23rd to February 18th, 2024.

The Lagos Polo Club has been a consistent venue for showcasing some of the world’s finest polo players and their equine partners. In the previous edition, the tournament witnessed a captivating display of skills as Leighton Kings secured victory over Lintex Intercontra, reclaiming the prestigious Majekodunmi Cup in a closely contested match.

The upcoming tournament will feature a total of 39 teams vying for victory in four major league cups, including the Silver Cup, Low Cup, Open Cup, and Majekodunmi Cup, among other cup categories. The event promises an enhanced experience for polo enthusiasts, combining the excitement of the sport with live music performances by leading Nigerian artists. The tournament will also be streamed live for its online audience.
