The Abuja Investment Company Limited (AICL) has announced that more than 500 high-level participants from over 40 countries are expected to attend the 2025 Abuja Business Investment Expo, scheduled to take place from October 22 to 25 at the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre, Abuja.
The event, hosted in collaboration with the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) and with FCT Minister, Barrister Nyesom Wike, as Chief Host, is themed:
“Empowering Sustainable Growth: Unlocking Potential in Emerging Markets.”
According to Dr. Maureen Tamuno, Group Managing Director and CEO of AICL, the expo will bring together top government officials, industry leaders, investors, diplomats, policymakers, financiers, and innovators from Nigeria and around the globe.
“This convergence of diverse perspectives will not only explore vast investment opportunities but also tackle key challenges facing emerging markets. It is about driving practical solutions and forging actionable strategies,” Dr. Tamuno stated.
The four-day summit will spotlight Abuja and the wider Federal Capital Territory (FCT) as an investment hub while also offering a platform to promote opportunities across Nigeria’s subnationals and other emerging markets.
Key objectives of the Expo include:
- Showcasing Abuja’s economic and investment potential across key sectors.
- Facilitating dialogue between investors, policymakers, and key stakeholders.
- Promoting partnerships between government institutions and the private sector.
- Connecting local entrepreneurs with global investors and development partners.
- Enhancing knowledge exchange on investment trends, regulatory landscapes, and market entry strategies.
AICL affirmed that the Expo will be a pivotal platform for fostering sustainable growth, deepening international collaboration, and accelerating development across sectors such as infrastructure, real estate, renewable energy, agriculture, technology, finance, and tourism.
