Buzznews Entrepreneurship Security & Technology, in collaboration with Buzznews Magazine and www.buzznews.com.ng, is set to host the Best Awards 2024 with the theme: “Nigeria’s Dynamic Crossroads: Security Paths to National Growth and Glory.”
The annual event is scheduled for Saturday, November 2 at The Civic Centre, located on Ozumba Mbadiwe Avenue, opposite 1004 Estate, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The Special Guest of Honour will be Her Excellency, Ambassador Erelu Ngozi Adeleke, wife of the Osun State Governor and a United Nations Peace Ambassador.
The Mother of the Day is Ambassador (Dr.) Princess Toyin Kolade, Iyalaje Oodua.
Mrs. Olufunmilayo Olowosegun, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Buzznews Entrepreneurship Security & Technology, said in a statement that the annual event is designed to recognise and reward individuals, who have made significant contributions to society.
Olowosegun emphasised that this year’s edition is particularly important as it addresses a critical national issue—growth, stating that collective efforts are required for Nigeria to reclaim its former glory.
“We at Buzznews Magazine and www.buzznewsonline.com.ng believe that Nigeria is a potentially great nation.
“It is time for all of us to contribute to the country’s growth rather than placing blame on others for our challenges,” she said.
She further noted that the awards are not given lightly, but are intended to acknowledge and appreciate those who are positively impacting the nation.
“Our awards make a statement. They are meant to show appreciation to those who are doing well in society,” she added.
Olowosegun also pledged that her media organisation would continue its role as a watchdog, dedicated to reporting events
as they unfold.
