Call For Applications: Agri-Business Facility for Africa (ABF) Climate Smart Agribusiness e-Academy
In a bold step toward democratizing agricultural education across Africa, the Agri-Business Facility for Africa (ABF) has unveiled the Agribusiness e-Academy—a dynamic, self-paced online learning platform designed to equip the next generation of agripreneurs with the skills they need to succeed.
Offered in multiple languages, including French, Spanish, and Portuguese, the e-Academy breaks language and location barriers to deliver accessible, high-quality training in agronomy, entrepreneurship, and agricultural economics. These core competencies are critical for unlocking the full potential of Africa’s agricultural value chains.
Drawing from more than 12 years of field-tested knowledge and internationally recognized tools, the platform enables users to earn certificates and performance scores by completing knowledge tests—credentials that can enhance career mobility, support agribusiness start-ups, or improve the quality of agricultural education across the continent.
“This platform is not just about skills; it’s about empowering livelihoods, building food security, and nurturing inclusive prosperity through knowledge,” said an ABF spokesperson.
The Agribusiness e-Academy is particularly well-suited for youth, educators, and rural entrepreneurs who may lack access to formal training institutions but are determined to build sustainable agricultural enterprises.
With plans to regularly expand its course offerings, ABF encourages learners to stay connected via LinkedIn and Facebook for updates, new modules, and peer success stories.
