This year’s edition of CSR REPORTERS Nonprofit Roundtable and Excellence Awards will be honoring Cedar Seed Foundation with SDG 10 Champion Award in recognition of its immense contribution and works towards reducing inequality in Nigeria at the ceremony scheduled for Abuja on July 6th, 2023.
The event organized by CSR Reporters, Africa’s premier platform for news on Social Impact and Sustainability practices is to celebrate the contributions of Nonprofits in communities across Nigeria. It is further to recognize and honour the achievements of outstanding members of the Nonprofit community who have freely and consistently committed their time and expertise to the needs of others by promoting inclusion, innovation and access in their personal and professional communities.
CSR REPORTERS’ Nonprofit Roundtable and Excellence Awards is an annual event of CSR REPORTERS MAGAZINE to recognize, honor and celebrate the outstanding efforts of Nonprofit organizations in general and the leaders that have made transformative impact on Nigerian society in the year under review.
No doubt, CSF has been a great source of hope to the indigents across Nigeria.
Just as the name implies, Cedar Seed Foundation could be termed a large evergreen tree with wide branches and small thin leaves which has many seeds solely relying on it for survival. This is what this organization is all about as a non-governmental entity. Structured to vehemently serve humanity, Cedar Seed Foundation is a non-governmental organization preaches genuine messages, detailing the fact that everyone has the right to flourish, therefore equality and prosperity must be available to all regardless of gender, race, religious beliefs or economic status.
On its mindset and as a global norm, Cedar Seed believes vividly that when every individual is self sufficient, the entire world prospers.
This worthy NGO empowers and promotes the social, economic and political inclusion of all, irrespective of age, sex, disability, race, ethnicity, origin, religion or economic or other status. The organization is formulated to preach for equal opportunity and reduce inequalities of outcome, including by eliminating discriminatory laws, policies and practices and promoting appropriate legislation, policies and action in this regard.
With these sterling and ambitious initiatives, Cedar Seed Foundation is voted and will be honoured with the SDG Goal-10 Equality Champion of the Year award.
Indeed is an award well deserve. CSF has written and is still writing her name in the sand of time.
