The Founder and Executive Director of Omo Alausa Foundation, Dr. Olayinka Alausa is among top philanthropists to be celebrated at this year’s edition of CSR REPORTERS’ Nonprofit Roundtable and Excellence Awards
This is in recognition of his immense contributions to the growth and development of the Nonprofit community across Africa. The ceremony js scheduled for Abuja on July 6th, 2023.
The event organized by CSR Reporters, Africa’s premier platform for news on Social Impact and Sustainability practices is to celebrate the contributions of Nonprofits in communities across Nigeria. It is further to recognize and honour the achievements of outstanding members of the Nonprofit community who have freely and consistently committed their time and expertise to the needs of others by promoting inclusion, innovation and access in their personal and professional communities.
On why Dr. Alausa was chosen as the winner of the coveted award, Eche Munonye, President and Editor-In-Chief of CSR Reporters said that the nominations for winners came from the Nonprofit community and only was ratified by the board of Editors of the publication. He further noted that Omo Alausa as he is fondly called by friends and associates, has obviously created valuable impact in the nonprofit circle and Nigeria as a whole to be nominated by an overwhelming majority of the voting population.

Dr. Alausa, a US based medical practitioner and philanthropist has been in the forefront of championing the cause of building the culture of giving back to the society where he started from. No doubt, he has been a source of inspiration both to the Nonprofit community and across sector watchers.
The organisation he founded, Omo Alausa Foundation is a non-profit organisation that takes care of the indigents people across communities in Nigeria, particularly in Lagos State.
