As the Champion Newspaper Heroes of the year 2022 award held in Lagos was going on, one man that everyone could not help but love is Chief Michael Onuoha, the president and CEO of Ailes Group. His hard work is gradually and steadily paying off, someone said.
You will agree with me that being astute is one of the attributes of successful persons. This is because when others see problems, they spot opportunities. In the case of Chief Michael Onuoha, if there be a word more than astuteness, he would have fitted into that perfectly well. Because even in the most odd of situations, when the average person would have been talking about feeling like fish out of water, he still succeeded in dazzling his contemporaries.
Bill Gates was once quoted as saying that as we look ahead into the next century, that leaders will be those who empower others. The kind of empowerment that permeates various lines of human endeavors. But especially, socio-economic empowerment.
What better way is there to create empowerment, than to open a window through which individuals from various walks of life can express themselves and their potential in their various little ways.
High Chief Onuoha, entrepreneur, business coach, philanthropist and the CEO of Ailes Group, has created and is still creating platforms for people to spread their wings. This ranges from having well over 1000 workforce, whom he’s worked hard to keep engaged and stimulated, under his payroll, to creating home ownership opportunities for people across the various states of the federation and providing packages that can make it easier for them to either assume home ownership or become investors. And this, he is doing in a very unique way, all in an effort of bettering the world around him.
Knowing his antecedent, the news of his nomination and eventual conferment of the prestigious Most Innovative Brand CEO of the year came, wasn’t a surprise, giving that he has invested immeasurable time building what today is seen as one of the biggest group of companies in Africa.
The recipient at the award, including the amiable High Chief Michael Onuoha were recognized and awarded for their various contributions to the economy and human development as well as for nurturing the well-being of citizens and the country.
