The Executive Vice Chairman of Igando-Ikotun LCDA, Honorable (Mrs.) Mojisola Ayinke Badmus is among top philanthropists and Grassroot Achievers to be celebrated at this year’s edition of CSR REPORTERS’ Nonprofit Roundtable and Excellence Awards
The award is in recognition of her immense contributions to the growth and development of the Nonprofits and the upliftment of indigent young people across local communities in Nigeria. The ceremony is scheduled for Abuja on July 6th, 2023.
The CSR Reporters Nonprofit Roundtable and Excellence Awards is an annual event organized by CSR Reporters, Africa’s premier platform for news on Social Impact and Sustainability practices to celebrate the contributions of Nonprofits and some notable change makers across Nigeria. It is further to recognize and honour the achievements of outstanding members of the Nigerian community who have freely and consistently committed their time, positions and funds to the needs of others by promoting inclusion, innovation and access in their personal and professional communities.
On why Honorable Ayinke Badmus was chosen as the winner of the coveted award, Eche Munonye, President and Editor-In-Chief of CSR Reporters said that the nominations for winners came from the Nonprofit and local communities and only was ratified by the board of Editors of the publication. He further noted that Mojisola as she is fondly called by friends, supporters and associates, has obviously created valuable impact in the Lagos State political circle and Nigeria as a whole to be nominated by an overwhelming majority of the voting population.
Mrs. Mojisola Ayinke Badmus, a political Grassroot mobilizer and philanthropist of repute is a woman of substance who has transformed the lives of many people.
Local communities around Lagos State have continued to hold her in high esteem because of her dedication to serving others over personal gains. She has been in the forefront of championing the cause of building the culture of giving back to the society where she started from. No doubt, she has been a source of inspiration both to women in Lagos State and Nigerians in general.
She has made it a duty to take care of the indigent people across communities in Lagos State.
