The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN) on Tuesday unveiled its logo for the 60th anniversary and shared plans for its diamond jubilee celebration at the institute’s secretariat in Ikeja, Lagos.
Themed “Six Decades of Excellence: Shaping Governance, Empowering Futures,” the anniversary celebrations will culminate in a grand finale in Lagos, with the exact dates yet to be announced.
Speaking at the event, ICSAN President Uto Ukpanah said the anniversary year will focus on continuity, governance impact, and stakeholder engagement.
“This is our first activity for the year. Continuity is central to our vision. As the hub and voice of governance professionals, we will work closely with stakeholders to deepen our impact as we mark 60 years,” Ukpanah said.
She emphasized the importance of fostering dialogue among business leaders.
“By bringing key voices together, we aim to spark meaningful and dynamic conversations across sectors,” she added.
Ukpanah also provided an update on the institute’s new national secretariat building. Construction, which began in February 2025, has reached the second floor. She described the project as a strategic investment in institutional sustainability and operational efficiency, noting that it will serve as a lasting legacy of the diamond jubilee.
