Lagos Government has empowered more than 1,000 entrepreneurs and artisans in the Lagos West setorial District with business grants and essential equipment to strengthen small businesses and create jobs.
At the Lagos West Stakeholders’ Engagement and Mega Empowerment Programme in Ikeja, beneficiaries received items such as mini-buses, sewing machines, hairdressing tools, barbing kits with generators, laptops, catering equipment, make-up kits, as well as cash grants of ₦200,000.Coordinated by Senator Dr. Idiat Oluranti Adebule, the initiative forms part of ongoing efforts to deepen economic inclusion and support sustainable livelihoods across 28 LGAs and LCDAs in the district.
All beneficiaries had previously completed skills training in ICT, tailoring, catering, barbing, hairdressing, and cosmetology, ensuring that the assistance translates into real business growth and continued self-reliance.
