The MTN Foundation has unveiled the sixth phase of its ICT and Business Skills Training, a flagship initiative aimed at equipping young Nigerian entrepreneurs with the digital and entrepreneurial skills needed to thrive in today’s innovation-driven economy.
This phase of the programme, which targets entrepreneurs between the ages of 18 and 35 across Ebonyi, Edo, Ekiti, Kebbi, Niger, and Yobe states, comes with ₦90 million worth of equipment grants for top-performing participants.
Delivered over five weeks in partnership with Microsoft and Meta, the training will provide practical lessons on digital tools, business growth strategies, and enterprise management. Additional support will come from leading organisations such as Oracle, KPMG, IBM, and the Digital Bridge Institute, offering participants a wealth of expertise and resources.
Since its launch, the ICT and Business Skills Training has empowered thousands of Nigerian youths with relevant knowledge for the digital economy. With this new phase, the MTN Foundation not only provides training but also ensures that outstanding participants are equipped with tangible resources to scale their businesses sustainably.
According to MTN, the initiative reflects its broader mission to foster innovation and youth empowerment by enabling young people to seize opportunities in an evolving economy. By merging world-class training with direct support, the Foundation is nurturing a new generation of entrepreneurs ready to create jobs, drive growth, and contribute meaningfully to Nigeria’s development.
