In celebration of its 17th anniversary, Noah’s Ark Communications organized a Community Clean-Up Campaign in Lagos, reaffirming its commitment to environmental sustainability and recycling. The initiative, which brought together all ‘Arknimals’ from across the Ark Group, was executed in partnership with the Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA), the Ministry of Environment, the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), and the Nigerian Police.
The clean-up exercise went beyond waste collection, as volunteers actively sensitized the public on the importance of recycling and proper waste management. Participants cleared plastic bottles and sachet water nylons from designated routes, reinforcing the urgent need for waste sorting and recycling.

According to Olajumoke Abodunrin, Business Director of Noah’s Ark Communications, the campaign was a fitting way to mark the company’s milestone. “This exercise was to celebrate Noah’s Ark at 17, and what better way to be a responsible ‘Terrible Teen’ than by giving back to the community?” she stated.
The collaboration between Noah’s Ark and key governmental agencies highlights the power of public-private partnerships in tackling environmental challenges. The initiative serves as a call to action for individuals, organizations, and policymakers to collectively foster a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable Lagos.
