The Obijackson Foundation, in collaboration with the Okija Bu Enyi Brothers Assembly, has taken a bold step in addressing waste management challenges in Okija, Anambra State. As part of the newly launched “Keep Okija Clean” campaign, the foundation donated vital waste evacuation tools and equipment to improve sanitation and promote environmental sustainability in the community.
Transformative Waste Management Initiative
The waste management donation, which took place at St. Mary’s School Field Okija, included:
- 140 waste bins
- 2 compactor trucks
- 2 operational Hilux vehicles

This initiative aligns with the Anambra State waste sorting policy, ensuring proper waste disposal and cleaner surroundings.
