United Kingdom-based philanthropist Abdullateef Bibire, a proud indigene of Kwara State, has made a significant impact in Ilorin by providing meals for over 2,000 people and recognizing 10 distinguished community heroes for their contributions to education, religion, and security.
This initiative, held over the weekend, is part of Bibire’s commitment to community development and grassroots recognition.
Honoring Unsung Heroes in Community Service
Speaking through his foundation, Bibire expressed concern over the neglect of individuals who have dedicated their lives to communal service but remain unrecognized.
“Many who have served their communities diligently are often forgotten. This discourages patriotism and ultimately hampers communal growth. With the little resources available to us, we aim to bridge this gap,” — Abdullateef Bibire.
To appreciate and support these selfless individuals, each honoree received a cash grant of ₦50,000.
