The 14th edition of the Practical Nigerian Content (PNC) Forum is set to gather senior government officials, regulators, industry executives, financiers, and service providers to explore strategies for accelerating energy growth while enhancing local content in Nigeria.
Under the theme, ‘Securing Investments, Strengthening Local Content, and Scaling Energy Production,’ the forum, scheduled for December 1 to 4, 2025, in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, will focus on three key priorities: mobilising large-scale investment capital, retaining economic benefits within Nigeria, and expanding energy production in ways that create lasting jobs, facilitate technology transfer, and strengthen indigenous industrial capacity.
For over 13 years, the PNC Forum has served as a premier platform for engaging stakeholders on practical strategies to advance Nigerian Content. It continues to bring together ministers, CEOs, policymakers, and industry experts to align efforts, highlight progress, and define actionable solutions for a resilient energy sector.
Wemimo Oyelana, Portfolio Director Africa and Country Director Nigeria at dmg events, emphasised the forum’s relevance in a transforming energy landscape. “Indigenous companies are taking on greater operational roles, and government policies supporting local participation and gas development are reshaping investment dynamics. PNC 2025 will spotlight practical approaches to securing investment, building local capacity, and ensuring Nigeria remains a centre for value creation in energy,” Oyelana stated.
The forum will feature keynote addresses, interactive panel sessions, and an exhibition showcasing Nigerian companies pioneering innovation in upstream, midstream, and gas projects. Case studies will highlight successful local content initiatives in fabrication, offshore engineering, gas processing, and digital technology adoption.
As the forum reflects on nearly 15 years since the enactment of the NOGICD Act, it will also offer stakeholders the opportunity to evaluate progress, address ongoing challenges, and chart a future focused on inclusive, investment driven, and sustainable energy growth for Nigeria.
