SBI Media, a leading advertising and marketing communications agency, has reinforced its reputation for purpose driven execution by delivering a high impact youth empowerment and community development project for TECNO, centred on the construction of two modern football pitches in Lagos State.
The large scale CSR initiative, valued at hundreds of millions of naira, culminated in the unveiling of the Sanwo-Olu Mini Stadium at Sura, Lagos Island, on December 23, and the Alade Pitch along Alade Stadium Road, Alimosho, on December 24. Designed as safe, accessible, and professionally built sporting facilities, the pitches are positioned to serve thousands of young people, providing structured spaces for talent discovery, youth engagement, and positive social interaction.
With the completion of the Sanwo-Olu Mini Stadium and Alade Pitch, SBI Media has demonstrated its capacity to deliver large-scale CSR initiatives that drive real empowerment outcomes. For TECNO, the project strengthens its positioning as a brand committed to youth development, grassroots sports, and sustainable community growth showing how purposeful collaboration can create impact that extends far beyond marketing.
TECNO’s leadership also reaffirmed the brand’s commitment to youth empowerment and grassroots development. The company’s Managing Director, Mr. Chidi, said the football pitches represent opportunity, inclusion, and hope for young Nigerians, adding that the partnership with SBI Media ensured the project was executed to the highest standards with strong community ownership.
Speaking at the unveiling, Managing Director of SBI Media, Mr. Rotimi Bankole, described the project as a deliberate investment in people and communities rather than a short-term branding exercise. He said the focus was on creating infrastructure that empowers young people, strengthens community bonds, and delivers measurable social impact.
