This was highlighted during a recent courtesy visit to Governor Pastor Umo Eno in Uyo by a high-level delegation from Seplat Energy, led by the company’s Board Chairman, Senator Udo Udoma.
During the meeting, the delegation formally announced the acquisition of Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited (MPNU) by Seplat Energy Offshore Limited. The acquired company has been rebranded as Seplat Energy Producing Nigeria Unlimited (SEPNU), assuming all the assets and liabilities of MPNU. This acquisition marks a pivotal milestone in Seplat Energy’s growth strategy, further solidifying its position in Nigeria’s energy sector.
