A leading pan-African pharmaceutical company, Shalina Healthcare, has stressed the need for industry stakeholders to push for more awareness on vocal health as it promised to continue championing it through Shaltoux My Voice My Identify, MVMI, an online digital contest.
The voice is every human’s unique identity and should be well taken care of, and Shalina Healthcare is already in the forefront leading the awareness campaign. Shalina will take it further by joining the rest of the world in celebrating the World Voice Day 2024 in a big way.
Mr. Sandeep Sahu, Deputy General Manager, Shalina Healthcare West Africa, made the statement on Friday at the grand finale of the Shaltoux My Voice My Identity Challenge, during the presentation of prizes to the #MVMI2.0 winners at the head office of the pharmaceutical company in Lagos.
According to a statement from the company, ‘‘the contest was for music enthusiasts to showcase their unique voices and win prizes for creating freestyle 30 to 60-second-video with the name of one of the firm products, Shaltoux Lozenges.’’
Shalina said ‘‘After an incredible display of talent and a flood of votes, we’re thrilled to unveil the Top 10 finalists of the Shaltoux MVMI 2.0 Challenge.’’
Israel Ejike Uroko, a participant with an entry name, @ejiyk_ from Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, emerged as the 1st Prize Winner and was presented with a cheque of 1.2 million naira.
Lawrence Kurah with the entry name, @dir_ten, who came all the way from Kaduna State, was announced as the 2nd prize winner and was presented with a cheque of six hundred thousand naira.
The 3rd prize was won by two twin sisters from Port Harcourt Rivers State, with the entry name, @dcapable_twins. They were presented with a cheque of three hundred thousand naira.
The Chief Commercial Officer, Shalina Healthcare West Africa, Mr. Arun Raj, in his speech said the show of interest by Nigerian youths who participated in the contest was huge.
While assuring them that Shalina will continue to provide the enabling platform for them to express their creativity, so that when they ‘’blow’’ become bigger artistes, they would reflect back and remember Shaltoux My Voice, My Identity.
