A growing real estate company in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, has reached out to the community through a significant Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) event.
Days back, Footy Homes and Properties, a subsidiary of the Footy Group, organised “Footy Share and Care.”
This initiative aimed to provide food supplies and monetary assistance to the elderly, widows, and less privileged individuals within the community.
The Footy Share and Care Initiative was led by the Chairman of Footy Group, Mr. Abdulazeez Olamuyiwa.
As a renowned real estate consultant and business tycoon, Mr. Olamuyiwa’s influence and commitment to social welfare were evident throughout the event.
Essential food items were distributed to hundreds of elderly individuals, widows, and other underprivileged members of the community.
In addition to food supplies, the Footy Group provided monetary assistance to help alleviate some of the financial burdens faced by the beneficiaries.
This gesture was particularly impactful for those dealing with medical expenses, rent, and other critical needs. The monetary aid served as a significant relief for many, addressing urgent financial concerns.
In his speech, Mr Abdulazeez Olamuyiwa expressed his profound empathy and concern for the financially challenged elders and widows.
He stated, “We at Footy Homes and Properties Limited are deeply touched by the silent cries of our financially challenged elders and widows.
“It is our hope and mission to use our influence and resources to bring succour to these individuals, ensuring they feel supported and valued.”
Since it started about two years ago, the company has made significant progress. Footy Homes and Properties has expanded its operations with a new office in Lagos and has secured more landed properties within and outside Ibadan.
CSR Reporters notes that this growth reflects the company’s dedication to not only business success but also to making a positive impact on the communities it serves.
“This Footy Share and Care event stands as a testament to Footy Homes and Properties’ commitment to social responsibility and community support”, the boss added.
