
Student Union Leaders Transformational Programme (SULTaP)
The Young Leaders Network (YLN) has equipped over 150 students of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi, with transformational leadership skills through its Student Union Leaders Transformational Programme (SULTaP).
This initiative aims to strengthen democratic values, enhance political activism, and promote gender inclusion among student leaders, positioning them as catalysts for national transformation.
At the Student Leadership Summit, themed “Empowering Student Leaders as Catalysts for National Transformation,” YLN’s Executive Director, Seun Justin, emphasized the importance of critical thinking, effective leadership, and sustainable solutions in student governance.

The SULTaP Project Manager, Moses Kusko, assured participants that the project would be sustained and expanded to maximize its impact on student leadership development.
“This initiative has proven to be a game-changer. We are committed to ensuring its continuity for broader effectiveness,” Kusko noted.
Delivering the keynote address, Dr. Andee Iheme, a Public Relations and Communications expert, highlighted challenges in Nigeria’s education sector and stressed the importance of collaboration among academia, industry, and government.
