The NNPC Ltd/FIRST Exploration & Petroleum Development Company Limited Joint Venture has successfully concluded its third annual medical outreach in Bayelsa State, reaffirming its dedication to community free healthcare and sustainable development.
The five-day initiative, held from January 29 to February 2, 2025, provided free healthcare services to over 3,800 beneficiaries across 11 host communities, significantly improving access to medical care in the region.
According to a statement released by the company on Wednesday, the outreach offered general consultations, laboratory tests, vision screenings with prescription eyeglasses, and comprehensive dental care, including fillings, cleanings, and extractions. In addition, essential preventive supplies such as treated mosquito nets for pregnant women and children, deworming medication, sanitary products, and oral hygiene kits were distributed.
