
In a heartfelt act of generosity, renowned philanthropist Pharm. Onuh Okpe marked his birthday by spending the day with the Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) community in Karonmajigi, FCT Abuja. His visit not only brought joy but also provided much-needed support through donations of cash and food items amid Nigeria’s current economic challenges.
Speaking during the event, Okpe emphasized that PWDs are a source of strength and a divine creation, deserving of dignity and care. He called on Nigerians of goodwill to extend kindness and assistance to those in need, no matter how small, reinforcing the importance of inclusive humanitarian efforts.
The community expressed deep gratitude for the gesture, with Mr. Mohammed Dantani, Secretary of the PWDs community, noting that the donations were particularly significant as they arrived during the holy month of Ramadan. He praised Okpe for his humility and unwavering respect for their community, affirming that their prayers would always be with him.
