Union Bank strengthens sustainability leadership with symposium
Union Bank of Nigeria has successfully concluded Season 4 of its widely celebrated Save & Win Palli Promo, awarding ₦5 million each to three lucky winners in a grand finale that underscored the bank’s commitment to financial empowerment and inclusive growth.
Since its launch, the promo has disbursed over ₦330 million in cash and prizes, positively impacting more than 5,000 customers nationwide. This season alone saw over ₦131 million distributed in giveaways—including motorcycles, tricycles, fuel vouchers, and cash rewards.
At the grand finale, held at Union Bank’s Head Office—Stallion Plaza, Marina, Lagos—three grand prize winners were honoured:
- Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq Isah – Zaria Branch (North)
- Atilabor Seikemefa Friday – Sapele Branch (South-South)
- Oluranti Ogunluyi – Ilaro Branch (South-West)
The winners emerged from a transparent, electronically conducted draw, supervised by relevant regulatory bodies, and were celebrated by the Bank’s executive leadership team led by Managing Director/CEO Yetunde Oni.
Vivian Imoh-Ita, Head of Retail and SME Banking, remarked:
“Over four years, the Save and Win Palli Promo has provided essential financial relief while rewarding loyal savers. This initiative reflects our long-term commitment to empowering everyday Nigerians.”
Olufunmilola Aluko, Chief Brand and Marketing Officer, added:
“The promo has not only strengthened savings habits but also supported customers through economic headwinds. Union Bank remains committed to creating tools that foster resilience and growth.”
Season 4, which ran from December 2024 to May 2025, rewarded over 3,000 customers. Participants qualified by maintaining a minimum balance of ₦10,000 and completing at least five monthly transactions. Monthly draws rewarded customers with ₦100,000, while quarterly draws featured motorcycles and tricycles as major prizes.
As this season concludes, Union Bank reaffirms its pledge to innovate and uplift, ensuring more Nigerians are financially equipped for the future.
