WIMBIZ Lifts Women To Build, Lead Boldly

Women in Management, Business and Public Service (WIMBIZ) has urged women to step boldly into leadership while lifting others along the way, as it unveiled the theme for its 24th Annual Conference: “O.W.N Own. Walk. Nurture.”

The two-day gathering, holding in November, will bring together thousands of women leaders, entrepreneurs, professionals, and policymakers from across Africa and beyond.

According to Executive Director, Omowunmi Akingbohungbe, the theme is a clarion call for women to take ownership of their journeys, walk with courage and authenticity, and nurture the next generation of leaders.

“At WIMBIZ, we believe women have the power to shape economies, societies, and futures. ‘O.W.N.’ is about embracing that power, leading with purpose, and building legacies that last,” she said.

The conference will feature inspiring keynote speeches, interactive panels, and networking sessions designed to equip women with tools to lead boldly and create meaningful impact across sectors.
