The Rotary International District 9110 in collaboration with Association of Nigerian Physicians in the Americans medical and surgical mission in 2023 has announced plans to conduct free medical consultations and surgical operations to the people in Lagos.
The association kicked off the medical outreach as a way of giving the members of the public free medical care.
Rotary International is one of the foremost service organisations founded in 1905. In Nigeria, the first Rotary Club and the Rotary Club of Lagos was chartered in 1960.
Rotary Club has identified seven key strategic areas to work on, which are maternal and child care; health, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH); supporting the environment; promoting global peace; resolving conflicts and supporting global communities through financial empowerment and disease prevention.
The Rotary also went on to list some of the diagnosed surgical conditions and the lists of screening centers to visit in various areas in Lagos like Oshodi, Ikeja, Gbagada, Abeokuta, Sagumu, Mile 2.
The operation will start on Monday, 3rd of April to 5th of April, 2023.
