About the Africa Youth Climate Fund
The Africa Youth Climate Fund (AYCF) is a flagship initiative of the Green Africa Youth Organization (GAYO), established to bridge the financing gap faced by young climate innovators, activists, entrepreneurs, and community-based organizations across Africa.
Recognizing that young people are among the most affected by climate change while often receiving limited financial support for their initiatives, AYCF works to strengthen youth leadership by expanding access to climate finance, technical support, partnerships, and capacity-building opportunities.
Through grant-making, programme development, strategic partnerships, and advocacy, the Fund aims to ensure that young Africans are not only participants in climate conversations but also key decision-makers and implementers of sustainable solutions.
As the demand for youth-led climate initiatives continues to grow, AYCF is expanding its team to strengthen programme delivery, operational efficiency, communications, and community engagement across the continent.
