Lawyer and governance expert, Ayokunle Ayoko, has emphasized the importance of strong leadership and personal wealth management as key drivers of national development. Speaking in Lagos at the launch of his six new books under the theme “The Gallery of Mastery: Six Pathways to Professional and Personal Greatness,” Ayoko highlighted the role of empathy, discipline, and financial literacy in shaping purposeful leaders.
His books including The Empathy Advantage, Small Habits, Big Wealth, The Smart Hustle, and The Quintessential Company Secretary reflect over six years of research focused on governance, leadership, and financial empowerment.
According to Ayoko, Small Habits, Big Wealth offers practical lessons on personal finance and resilience in a challenging economy, while The Empathy Advantage explores how compassionate leadership fosters productivity and sustainable success.
Commending his contribution, industry leaders such as Uto Ukpanah, President of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria, and Gbenga Oyebode, Chairman of CFAO Nigeria Limited, described the works as timely resources that promote ethical leadership, accountability, and institutional excellence.
Ayoko noted that his writings aim to inspire professionals to combine empathy with competence a balance he believes is essential for transforming Nigeria’s leadership and governance culture.
