Bethesda Foundation Champions Education and Festive Giving for Nigeria’s Underserved Children

For over 24 years, the Bethesda Child Support Foundation has been a guiding light for underserved children across Nigeria. Established in 2001, this faith based nonprofit organization is dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty by providing tuition free, quality education to out of school children.

At the core of Bethesda’s mission is its network of schools in underserved communities, offering children not only learning but hope, stability, and a pathway to a brighter future. Today, the foundation operates eight tuition free schools across Lagos, Ogun, Akwa Ibom, and Cross River States. Through these schools and complementary literacy and skills programs, Bethesda has positively impacted the lives of over 10,000 children since its inception.

Annual Christmas Food Drive: Spreading Hope and Festive Cheer is One of Bethesda’s most cherished initiatives is its Christmas Food Drive, a campaign dedicated to bringing warmth, nourishment, and joy to disadvantaged children during the holiday season. This year, the foundation plans to support 1,000 children, providing essential food items, gifts, and a festive meal during its Thanksgiving Service & Christmas Party. The event serves as a powerful reminder that every child deserves to experience the joy and warmth of the holidays, regardless of their socio economic background.
