CSR REPORTERS CELEBRATES MR. HARISH THAVRANI, CHAIRMAN OF OMNIK GROUP, ON HIS BIRTHDAY ANNIVERSARY

Mr. Thavrani’s legacy as an industrialist, humanitarian, and peace advocate continues to make a profound impact across Nigeria and beyond. Since founding Omnik Group in Lagos in 1992, he has transformed the organization into a key player in Nigeria’s manufacturing landscape, creating jobs, empowering local communities, and driving economic inclusion through ethical and sustainable business practices.

Beyond the boardroom, Mr. Thavrani’s contributions to humanity are both extensive and inspiring. Through Kirti’s Kare Foundation, he has provided thousands of underserved Nigerians with access to free medical care, artificial limbs, and vocational training—restoring dignity and economic opportunity to vulnerable populations. The Foundation’s quarterly health camps have become a lifeline for many, touching over 11,000 lives to date.

In collaboration with Ambassador Kirti Sudhanshu, Mr. Thavrani has also been instrumental in promoting peace and social transformation through the 1000 Peace Ambassadors initiative—an effort to foster sustainable development and unity across Nigeria.
