In a significant move to empower young entrepreneurs and drive digital transformation, the Bank of Industry (BOI) has partnered with Bumpa, a leading Nigerian e-commerce and business management platform, to launch a groundbreaking initiative. The BOI x Bumpa program is offering six months of free access to premium digital business tools, designed to equip youth-led small and medium enterprises (SMEs) with the skills and resources needed to thrive in today’s digital economy.
The program, which aligns with BOI’s commitment to Youth & Skills Development, aims to bridge the gap in digital literacy and provide young entrepreneurs with the tools to succeed. Selected beneficiaries will have access to Bumpa’s cutting-edge business management platform, featuring inventory management, customer management, payment processing, sales analytics, and e-commerce integration.
According to Olawale Ajibola, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of BOI, “This partnership is a testament to BOI’s commitment to empowering Nigerian youth and driving economic growth. The program is open to youth-owned MSMEs, and applications can be submitted through a link. The eligibility criteria include:
- Being a Nigerian citizen between the ages of 18 and 35
- Owning a registered business
- Having a minimum annual turnover of N1 million
- Demonstrating potential for growth and scalability
