The Gbenga Samuel Wemimo Ministries International (GSWMI) continues its commitment to positively impact lives across Nigeria through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm. Dr. Ololade Akinrinlola, the head of GSWMI’s CSR team, shared this heartening mission during an exclusive interview with the Daily Sun in Lagos last Friday.
In line with their dedication to embodying the love of Christ, GSWMI’s CSR team embarked on a heartwarming mission to bring joy and support to the less privileged during this season of giving. This annual tradition, aimed at bringing smiles to the faces of the underserved and vulnerable members of society, began in September and spanned across 18 states in Nigeria and the United Kingdom, culminating in a grand finale this December.
Dr. Akinrinlola emphasized that GSWMI-CSR, primarily funded by donations from generous members and partners, aspires to extend its reach globally. Currently, the CSR activities span across all 36 states in Nigeria and the Federal Capital Territory.
“The pinnacle of our December initiatives involved a visit to the University of Benin Teaching Hospital, signifying a significant chapter in our ongoing CSR endeavors,” said Akinrinlola.
During their compassionate outreach, the team touched the lives of numerous individuals, including 36 mothers, caretakers of twins and triplets, 12 male patients in the ward, and 5 children in the pediatric ward. They offered prayers and support to patients grappling with diabetes and cancer, while also distributing heartfelt gifts, invoking blessings upon each recipient.
GSWMI’s CSR initiatives reflect the organization’s unwavering commitment to making a positive impact on society and spreading love and support to those in need. The ministry remains dedicated to its mission of uplifting communities and providing hope to the less fortunate.
