Niyi Eboda: Leading Men to Christ through Philanthropy
Like Oprah Winfrey was quoted as saying, there is a calling for everyone. Every human being, she said, has a value and purpose. However, the real work of our lives is to become aware and awake to answer that call.
Gbeminiyi Eboda, Founder of HarvestHouse Christian Centre, didn’t just answer his calling, he understood that his calling was about bringing life changing positive transformation in the lives of people. And because he understood the path he was called to follow, he wasted no time hitting the ground running.
HarvestHouse Christian Centre which Eboda founded, is a dynamic congregation with a mandate to raise models and empower saints in order to fulfill their God-ordained destinies.
Today, it is branded the poshest church in the city of Ibadan, Oyo State capital. Originally, it was called Harvest International Church and located at Alpha Cathedral Church Street, Police Bus-Stop, Akobo, Ibadan. He is also not touching and transforming lives only through church ministrations. He is an author of inspirational books, through which also, he has drawn many a soul to the kingdom ministry.
His books, Accelerate Your Success Rate; You Are More Than This; Achievers Goldmine; Understanding Faith; Singles Without Wrinkles; 101 Basic Lessons of Life; Your Destiny is in Your Competence; Slaying the Giant, among others, have been a source of transformation in people’s lives across the globe in different languages.
These books, whose authorship were inspired by the Holy Spirit, have continued to impact lives in tangible and remarkable ways and brought about multiple testimonials from several readers.
In his book, Understanding Faith, he admitted that though everyone faces mountainous situations, only those standing in faith eventually move their own mountain. Faith, he revealed, is the only guarantee of victory and is capable of overcoming every challenge in any area of life.
Any believer who is not living by faith, he maintained, will begin to malfunction because that is the only mode we are designed to be or live in. And he further quoted thus: “With your faith in active engagement, every current problem is racing towards its expiration. Come along on a journey of discoveries… It’s time to begin to walk in the fullness of all that’s yours by covenant because it’s your inheritance!”
As part of his transformation calling, he is the convener and host of the life changing conference, Move Your World, where he teaches upward mobility strategies and principles required to move from a life of survival to that of success and significance. This conference has contributed in no small measure to placing him in high demand as a teacher and preacher of God’s world, and human capital trainer.
Beyond being hosted both in the Northern and Southern parts of Nigeria, the conference has as well been hosted in other countries such as UAE, South Africa, and the UK.
The president of Ecclesia Consulting, Founder and Senior Pastor of HarvestHouse Christian Centre has succeeded in planting churches in the United Kingdom, Ghana and South Africa and at various places in Nigeria.
At Ecclesia Consulting that he presides over, they serve as a resource to empower other church ministry leaders in growing their ministry by rendering administrative support while the church leadership concentrates in other areas of the ministry.
These administrative support by Ecclesia Consulting covers web hosting, graphics to complement their sermons, content on their social media pages and presenting and promoting the ministers and their ministry in every way that is socially and spiritually acceptable on the internet. Ecclesia Consulting also engages in capacity building for ministers of the gospel so as to strengthen them in doing exploits for the Kingdom of God on earth.

Reverend Eboda is also the Founder of Cedars House of Grace, the Lekki campus of HarvestHouse of Grace. A church that is established to raise models and to empower saints to fulfill their God ordained destinies.
Just like every other object of nature that would have to undergo various stages of metamorphosis, the now very popular Cedars House of Grace was said to have started with a weekly Sunday evening hangout at Raddison Blu Hotel, Ozumba Mbadiwe, Victoria Island, Lagos, in the last quarter of 2018.
Just five years down the line, they are located at Block 2, Plot 3, Okunde Bluewater Zone, Off Remi Olowude Street by Lekki Second Roundabout and hold two services every Sunday.
The mother church, HarvestHouse Christian Centre was said to have initially started out as a fellowship in 1992 and called Oasis of Faith Christian Centre and held meetings at Bolajoko Primary School Ashi in Ibadan. In 1996, the fellowship evolved into Harvest International Church.
Harvest International Church became Harvest House Christian Centre in 1998, after being registered by the Corporate Affairs Commission.
In over 20 years, the church has moved from various locations and has inarguably been branded the poshest church in the city of Ibadan, Oyo state. From this humble beginning, the church is said to have grown into two services with two satellite churches in the city of Ibadan.
According to them, they are a God-sensitive and seeker-friendly church, located in an environment and atmosphere where people’s needs are constantly being met, their minds empowered through the provision of relevant information and sustainable inspiration, their spirit fed and men and women are stirred up to action, all with a passion towards fulfillment of their God-ordained destinies.
From all of the above, it needs no saying that Reverend Gbeminiyi Eboda is on the right path of his calling, doing what God has called him to do and feeding the sheep kept to his care, making life for them on earth worth living as well as preparing them for the Kingdom of God.
