The Dr. Olaolu Mudasiru Foundation has awarded its inaugural university scholarship to Eniolaoluwa John Sohe, an outstanding graduate of the Nigerian Military School, Zaria. This scholarship, presented on the second anniversary of Dr. Mudasiru’s passing, is a tribute to his enduring legacy as a philanthropist and investment banker dedicated to education and social development.
Founded in March 2024, the foundation aims to empower young talents through education, entrepreneurship, and the arts—reflecting Dr. Mudasiru’s lifelong mission to uplift underserved communities and nurture the next generation of Nigerian leaders.
Following Eniolaoluwa’s admission to Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) to study Sociology, the scholarship will cover his full tuition, accommodation, and upkeep stipend, eliminating financial barriers and allowing him to focus on academic excellence.
At the award ceremony, Ohis Ohiwerei, Chairman of the foundation, emphasized that Dr. Mudasiru firmly believed in the transformative power of education.
“This scholarship is not just an award—it is a call to uphold integrity, service, and excellence. Eniolaoluwa’s diligence and determination embody boundless potential, and we are honored to support his journey,” Ohiwerei stated.
Beyond individual scholarships, the foundation aims to create a lasting impact, fostering opportunities that drive professional success and community transformation.
Expressing gratitude, Rev. Oluwaseyi Sunday Sohe, Eniolaoluwa’s father, remarked:
“This scholarship is more than financial support—it is an opportunity to change Eniolaoluwa’s future and, in turn, give back to society.”
Through initiatives like this, the Dr. Olaolu Mudasiru Foundation continues to champion education as a tool for societal progress, ensuring that deserving students have the resources they need to achieve excellence and contribute meaningfully to their communities.
