tanbic IBTC Holdings has reaffirmed its commitment to inclusive growth and social impact through its flagship Together4ALimb initiative, which provides prosthetic limbs and educational support to children across Nigeria.
Since its inception in 2015, the programme has continued to change lives by offering hope and opportunity to underserved children aged 0 to 18 living with limb loss resulting from accidents, medical conditions, or congenital disabilities.
In 2025, the initiative will welcome 64 new beneficiaries, bringing the total number of supported children to 200. Each child will receive a custom-fitted prosthetic limb and an education trust fund worth ₦1.5 million, ensuring they have access not only to mobility but also to education a crucial foundation for their future.
Speaking on the milestone, Chief Executive of Stanbic IBTC Holdings, Chuma Nwokocha, highlighted the company’s commitment to creating long-term impact.
“We are not just fitting limbs for underserved children; we are enabling futures. The Together4ALimb initiative reflects our belief that every child deserves an equal chance to live fully and pursue their dreams,” he said. “This is at the heart of our mission to raise awareness and foster inclusion within the communities we serve.”
Echoing this sentiment, Chief Executive of Stanbic IBTC Bank, Wole Adeniyi, described the initiative as a reflection of shared humanity and enduring compassion.
“Together4ALimb embodies our collective empathy. As we continue to walk with these children until they turn 18, we are reminded of how consistency, kindness, and support can transform lives,” he said.
Beyond restoring physical mobility, Stanbic IBTC’s Together4ALimb programme empowers children through education giving them the tools to build brighter, independent futures for themselves and their families.
