Excitement is building across Africa as registrations for the second edition of the PremiumTrust Bank Abuja City International Half Marathon have surpassed 2,800 participants, just 20 days ahead of race day.
Organised by Nilayo Sports Management Limited, the event continues to draw elite athletes, recreational runners, fitness enthusiasts, and corporate teams from Nigeria and abroad.
The organisers are finalising preparations to ensure a seamless, world-class race experience for participants, residents, and visitors.
The 2025 edition, themed “Steady Strides,” aims to enhance community participation, promote healthy living, boost sports tourism, and showcase Abuja as a premier destination for international road races.
Runners will compete across categories catering to professional athletes, amateurs, fitness groups, families, and visitors eager to experience the city’s vibrant marathon atmosphere.
