Ogun State government commends Shell Energy for exemplary CSR initiatives

Hon. Funmilayo Efuwape, Commissioner for Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs, conveyed the government’s gratitude while officially receiving a refurbished Fire Fighting truck and various equipment generously donated by Shell Nigeria Gas Limited to the Department of Fire and Safety Services in the state. The handover ceremony took place at Oke-Mosan Abeokuta.
The Commissioner emphasized the critical importance of such contributions in preventing fire outbreaks and facilitating swift responses to distress calls. She praised Shell Nigeria Gas Limited as a responsible corporate entity dedicated to improving the lives of both indigents and residents of the state.

Engr. Fatai Adefala, the Director of Ogun State Fire and Safety Services, expressed gratitude for the support provided by Shell Energy, assuring that the firefighting trucks and equipment would be deployed effectively to fulfill their intended purpose.
Representing Shell Nigeria Gas Limited, Simeon Eze, the Assets Manager West, conveyed appreciation for the state government’s commitment to the Public Private Partnership initiative.
