About the GrowHer Agribusiness Accelerator
The GrowHer programme is an 8-week blended learning accelerator that combines digital learning with live expert-led sessions. It is implemented under the Agri-Business Facility for Africa (ABF) project and delivered through the Agribusiness e-Academy.
The programme is designed to help women move beyond subsistence farming or early-stage agribusiness activities into structured, scalable, and commercially viable enterprises.
Participants are guided through business development modules, market readiness training, and practical application exercises tailored to real-world agribusiness challenges.
Programme Structure
The accelerator runs for 8 weeks and is structured around three core learning pillars:
- Digital Learning: Self-paced agribusiness courses covering business management, climate-smart agriculture, value chain development, and export readiness
- Expert Mentorship: Live virtual sessions with agribusiness professionals and industry experts
- Market-Oriented Growth: Support in building scalable business models and improving market access and competitiveness
Participants are expected to combine online learning with active engagement in weekly expert-led sessions.
Eligibility Criteria
The GrowHer Agribusiness Accelerator is open to women across Africa, the Caribbean, and the Pacific regions who meet the following conditions:
- Women Entrepreneurs: Must be a woman entrepreneur, farmer, or agribusiness operator
- Agrifood Value Chain: Must be engaged in any segment of the agrifood value chain
- Early-stage or Aspiring: Open to both early-stage and aspiring agripreneurs
- Strong Interest: Applicants should demonstrate a strong interest in building or scaling an agribusiness venture
- Commitment: Must be willing to commit to the full 8-week programme structure
