The MTN Foundation has announced the opening of its 2026 scholarship applications, reaffirming its role as one of Nigeria’s leading investors in education. The program, now in its 15th year, will provide ₦300,000 annual grants to 400 students across Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM), Medicine, and visually impaired categories.
Scholarship Categories
- Science & Technology Scholarship (STS) — For 300‑level STEM students in public tertiary institutions, minimum CGPA of 3.5.
- Medical Students Scholarship — Newly introduced, targeting 400‑level medical students in public universities and teaching hospitals.
- Scholarship for Blind Students (SBS) — For 200‑ and 300‑level visually impaired students in any discipline, minimum CGPA of 2.5.
Benefits
- ₦300,000 annual grant covering tuition, textbooks, and living expenses.
- Renewable yearly until graduation if academic performance is maintained.
