The House of Rémy Martin has unveiled its latest creation, Rémy Martin VS Supérieur, with influential voices within the company championing the launch as a modern expression designed exclusively for Africa. The product, introduced simultaneously in Nigeria and South Africa in September 2025, is being positioned as a blend that bridges heritage and contemporary lifestyle.
Svetlana Naumova, Managing Director for Africa, Middle East, India and CIS at Rémy Cointreau, described the launch as a pivotal moment in the brand’s connection with Africa’s vibrant new generation of consumers. “Rémy Martin VS Supérieur represents a bold step forward, honouring our rich heritage while embracing the dynamic lifestyle of South Africa and Nigeria. We’re confident it will resonate deeply with the next generation of cognac lovers,” she said.
Baptiste Loiseau, Cellar Master of the House of Rémy Martin, emphasised the artistry behind the blend, noting that it reinterprets a historic recipe to meet modern tastes. “This cognac embodies both freshness and depth. With immediacy and a long, memorable finish, VS Supérieur captures the vibrancy of Petite Champagne while offering a distinctive expression for a new time and place,” he explained.
The company underscored that the limited Petite Champagne terroir delivers eaux-de-vie of exceptional character, while full distillation on the lees gives the blend a unique aromatic complexity and a silkier texture.
Designed with versatility in mind, Rémy Martin VS Supérieur can be enjoyed neat, on ice, or mixed in cocktails with pineapple, sparkling fruit juice, lemonade, or tonic broadening its appeal to a diverse audience of drinkers.
With more than three centuries of legacy, the House of Rémy Martin continues to reaffirm its influence in the premium spirits market, leveraging the voices of its leaders to introduce an innovation crafted exclusively for Africa.
