Women farmers in Nasarawa State have received a ₦26 million empowerment fund through a collaboration between the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security and the First Lady’s Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI). The symbolic cheque presentation, held in Lafia on March 12, was led by the Wife of the Nasarawa State Governor, Hajiya Silifat Sule, represented by Mrs. Tosin Sheila Akabe (Wife of the Deputy Governor). She urged the beneficiaries to leverage the training and financial support to scale their agribusinesses and strengthen food production in the state.
