Fidelity Bank Plc has reaffirmed its commitment to driving Africa’s export growth by convening a high-level panel of industry leaders, policymakers, and trade experts at the upcoming Fidelity Nigeria International Trade & Creative Connect (FNITCC) 2025 in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.
The session, themed “Laying the Tracks: Strengthening the Institutional Infrastructure for Africa’s Trade Promotion,” will hold on Saturday, September 20, 2025 (Day 2 of the conference) at the Omni Atlanta Hotel, Centennial Park.
Confirmed panelists include Nonye Ayeni, Executive Director/CEO, Nigeria Export Promotion Council; Shaquana Teasley, Founder & CEO, Agate Solutions (U.S.); Titus Olowokere, Executive Director, US Nigeria Business Council; Affie Braimoh, Founder of Sac Fruits and former Edo State Commissioner of Industry, Trade & Cooperatives; and Sebastine Osita, CEO of GIG Logistic Technologies Ltd.
Speaking ahead of the event, Isaiah Ndukwe, Divisional Head of Export and Agriculture at Fidelity Bank Plc, noted that the initiative reflects the bank’s strategic role in building the non-oil export ecosystem.
“As Nigeria’s leading financial institution in the non-oil export sector, Fidelity Bank is driving sustainable growth across Africa’s trade corridors. Through financial solutions, market access platforms like FNITCC, and capacity-building initiatives such as our Export Management Programme, we are addressing institutional gaps that hinder Africa’s global trade participation,” he stated.
FNITCC Atlanta 2025, hosted in partnership with AFRICON, is expected to draw over 3,000 stakeholders, including investors, trade agencies, exporters, and diaspora professionals. Organizers project that the event will facilitate trade and investment transactions exceeding US$500 million.
Beyond panel discussions, the three-day conference (September 18–20) will feature deal rooms, exhibitions of African products and services across key sectors, targeted matchmaking with U.S. buyers, and policy dialogues focused on positioning Africa as a stronger player in global value chains.
Notable speakers include Mustafa Chike-Obi, Chairman, Fidelity Bank Plc; Aishah Ahmad, Global Finance Leader and former CBN Deputy Governor; Abba Bello, Managing Director, NEXIM Bank; and Olasunkanmi Owoyemi, Group Managing Director/CEO, Sunbeth Global Concepts Nigeria Ltd.
