WealthGate Africa, a real estate and wealth development company, has strengthened women’s financial capacity through its Women Winning With Wealth initiative, a programme focused on equipping women with practical knowledge for sustainable wealth creation, financial stability, and long term independence.
The event, held in Lagos, convened women from diverse professional and entrepreneurial backgrounds for structured learning sessions centred on financial planning, investment decision-making, and wealth structuring. The programme emphasised building informed, disciplined approaches to money management and long-term asset growth
Attendees described the programme as impactful and timely, noting that it provided actionable insights, real-world investment perspectives, and a clearer roadmap towards financial independence. WealthGate Africa reaffirmed its commitment to delivering similar empowerment initiatives aimed at strengthening financial inclusion and supporting women in building, protecting, and growing wealth sustainably.
Speaking at the event, Founder of WealthGate Africa, Dr Mayowa Owolabi, described financial literacy as a foundational requirement for women seeking long-term security and independence. She noted that understanding financial systems enables women to make informed choices that shape sustainable economic futures.
Financial education is essential for women who desire independence and long-term security. When women understand how money works, they are better equipped to make decisions that protect and grow their wealth over time,” she said.
The programme also explored the role of real estate as a stable asset class, alongside land banking as a long-term investment strategy and agriculture as a diversification tool. Participants received guidance on building effective financial structures, managing income streams, and navigating investment decisions within an evolving economic environment
