Axxela Retains EcoVadis Gold Medal for 2025, Reaffirms Commitment to Sustainability and ESG Excellence

 Axxela Limited, a leading indigenous gas and power portfolio company in sub-Saharan Africa, has once again secured the prestigious Gold Medal in the 2025 EcoVadis Sustainability Rating, solidifying its reputation as a leader in responsible and sustainable business practices.

This achievement places Axxela among the top 5% of over 125,000 companies evaluated globally by EcoVadis in the past year. The company earned a spot in the 95th percentile for its performance across critical Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) pillars: Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement.

The Gold Medal recognition highlights Axxela’s consistent strides in integrating sustainability into its corporate strategy, operations, and growth agenda.
