Lagos Food Bank Hosts 6th Annual Feed the Future Walkathon to Support School Feeding Programs

The Lagos Food Bank Initiative will hold its 6th annual Feed the Future walkathon (Feed the Future 6.0) on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at the TBS Cricket Field, Onikan, Lagos Island. The event, starting at 7:00 a.m., aims to raise funds for the organisation’s EduFood project, which provides nutritious meals to pupils in low-cost primary and secondary schools.

Beyond fundraising, the walkathon seeks to raise awareness about the crucial role of school feeding programs in improving student health, boosting attendance, and enhancing academic performance.
