Cedar D’Vine Nigeria Limited, a leading beverage and dairy firm, has celebrated its 20th anniversary with a renewed focus on expanding into African markets. The milestone event, held in Ogun State, brought together partners, regulators, distributors, and staff to honor the company’s journey.
Speaking at the celebration, Managing Director Mike Ewewie said the company has thrived despite economic turbulence through research, innovation, and adaptability.
“I can say that continuous learning, improvement, adaptability, and leveraging the quality people around us—staff, customers, and distributors—have made the journey great,” he noted.
Ewewie emphasized that the company’s strategy hinges on understanding customer needs. “It is no longer about producing a product and giving it to customers. It is about knowing what customers need and producing exactly that, and it has really paid off,” he said.
Looking ahead, he revealed that Cedar D’Vine will begin production in another African country by mid-next year, targeting distribution to at least three countries within that region.
The Ogun State Coordinator of the Standard Organisation of Nigeria (SON), Moshood Shittu, encouraged the company to leverage SON’s free initiatives to boost its continental reach, commending Cedar D’Vine’s commitment to compliance and due process.
Similarly, the Executive Secretary of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN) in Ogun State, Motunrayo Elegberun, pledged MAN’s support for Cedar D’Vine’s operations.
The event also featured the presentation of awards to outstanding distributors and staff, highlighting the company’s culture of recognition and excellence.
